Why can’t I find our license in the registry?
If you applied for a marriage license, you should already find your license in the registry under Engagements To Get Married. If you meant to have your existing marriage retroactively registered, you should find your license in the Dolls’ Marriage Registry.
If this is not the case, you probably forgot to confirm your application. Submitted applications are subject to confirmation within 24 hours by clicking the confirmation link in the automatic e-mail received upon submission.
Once the deadline expires, the application is deleted from the system. In such case, please submit a new application (Marry Your Doll) and consider confirming it immediately.
If, after a few minutes, you still can’t find the e-mail in your inbox, please check your spam folder. If the e-mail is still not found, please use our mail form (Contact) to contact us.
What if the date of my wedding is not displayed correctly?
Please mind that all dates displayed on this website refer to the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) matching the mean solar time at the zero meridian. Therefore, depending on the time of your ceremony in your time zone, the date displayed may differ accordingly.
On your wedding certificate, you can have the local time of your wedding displayed, if applicable.
In case of a discrepancy of which you feel that it cannot be explained by the above, please use our mail form (Contact) to explain your request in detail.
What if I can’t switch languages?
Basically, this is an English website. There are no official versions in any other language.
However, we do provide the opportunity to have this website automatically translated into various languages by Google Translate. When using a mobile device, you may need to use "Google Chrome" as web browser to make translations work.
Please be aware, though, that we have no influence on the quality of such translations, including inconsistencies with regard to formal and informal addressing. Also, the search function will not support search terms in foreign languages.
What we do offer are ceremonies, wedding certificates and automatic e-mails in German. Please make sure to select your preferred language when applying for a marriage license (Marry Your Doll) or update your settings (pictorial walkthrough).

If the e-mail is still not found, please use our mail form (Contact) to describe your request and previous proceeding as detailed as possible.
How about data protection?
The “full” names submitted when applying for a marriage license (Marry Your Doll) will be publicly displayed in our Dolls’ Marriage Registry. Therefore, we recommend to not use any full real names. Most of all, please refrain from entering the human spouse’s full last name.
The most recent name adjustments of your respective names for the purpose of generating a wedding certificate will be saved with your license in our database but never be publicly visible anywhere.
Otherwise, only your valid e-mail address is required for us to communicate with you. Your address will remain in our system while your marriage license is valid or your engagement or marriage by standards of DollWedding.net is intact.
If a marriage or engagement is terminated or a marriage license expires, all of your data will be deleted from our system. Never ever will we give out your e-mail address to anyone.
It is your responsibility not to share your current PIN and your code word with anyone to avoid misuse.

We do reserve the right to terminate this project at any time without prior notice and without stating reasons.
In case this happens or this project cannot be continued for other reasons, couples married by standards of DollWedding.net may, of course, continue to consider themselves as such for as long as they wish.
What if there is a technical problem or I have another question?
Of course, we are unable to guarantee that our website will be accessible at your chosen wedding date as we are dependent on our web hoster.
If the ceremony is interrupted due to a technical issue, please click on the link to your ceremony again once the situation allows. Possibly, you will have to enter your license-ID and PIN again. The ceremony should then resume from the latest step. It is also possible, though, that the ceremony will start over as interrupted ceremonies will be reset after 24 hours.
If this doesn’t help or you have a different problem or request, please use our mail form (Contact) to describe us your problem or request as detailed as possible. If required due to the nature of your request, please provide the following information to identify yourself:
- your license-ID
- your previous e-mail address
- your new e-mail address
- your code word
